Nevada Health Care Coalition Hospital Quality Rewards Program
The Nevada Health Care Coalition Hospital Quality Rewards Program was developed to reward and acknowledge northern Nevada hospitals with which we contract hospital services for improving quality measures and safe practices. We are steadfast in our committment to:
- Reduce preventable medical mistakes in the hospital
- Encourage hospitals to publically report their quality and outcomes to provide consumers informed health choices
- Reward and publically acknowledge hospitals for improving quality and safety practices
The NHCC Hospital Quality Rewards Program will be measured by a combination of the Leapfrog Group Hospital Survey and HealthInsight (CMS) data. Participating hospitals must agree to participate in the annual Leapfrog Hospital Survey and participate in the quarterly NHCC Hospital Quality and Performance Improvement Council by attending at least three (3) of four (4) meetings per year of award. The Nevada Health Care Coalition will publically recognize those participating hospitals annually thorough various media recognition and an annual NHCC Hospital Quality Rewards Program luncheon. We invite all northern Nevada hospitals to consider participation.
