The Nevada Health Care Coalition serves as the northern Nevada Roll-Out Leader for the annual Leapfrog Hospital Survey.
The Leapfrog Group is the leading national nonprofit organization taking action to change the way health care is purchased and delivered. Leapfrog serves as the employers voice on health care issues in the local and national arenas.
Leapfrog helps employers attain their goals - to save lives and reduce costs - through the principals of value-based purchasing. Members commit to the Group's purchasing principals - actions such as educating enrollees about their local hospitals to help them make informed choices, focusing on discrete safety leaps that are proven to save lives and dollars, using incentives to drive improvements, and working with health plans to create consistent quality and safety standards. Leapfrog's members use their collective purchasing power to alert America's health industry that big leaps in health care safety, quality and customer value will be recognize and rewarded.
