Membership Criteria
Applicant must be a single employer with a minimum of 250 employees covered by an employer self-funded employee health plan, and agree to participate in NHP mandatory hospital contract programs.
Applicant's medical plan must (a) be self-insured, (b) contain a waiting period no longer than nine months, (c) have a satisfactory utilization review process and (d) provide for contribution by applicant of at least 50% of employee's medical premiums.
Applicant must have satisfactory financial stability, evidence of which must be submitted upon request.
Applicant must agree to pay the annual Coalition membership fee.
Applicant must submit a NHCC membership application along with a one-time membership enrollment fee.
